“Who is Shardae?” - Ashley Shardae is the founder of Shardae’s Sweets. Her middle name was inspired by the Nigerian-British singer, Sade Adu (pronounced Shah-Day). Sade is a woman of elegance, grace, and class, and that’s exactly what Shardae’s Sweets strives to embody.

By day, Ashley balances a full-time career in Client Success, Sales Operations, and Strategy within the TV advertising industry. By night (and weekends), she is a part-time, self-taught baker with a passion for crafting desserts that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Her love for baking began with cookies and brownies, and over the past year she has poured that passion into the art of cake design — blending creativity, flavor, and artistry into every custom order.

Ashley never attended culinary school nor received formal training — everything she knows, she has taught herself. Each recipe and design reflects countless hours of practice, love, and dedication, and that’s something she is deeply proud of.
